1. How long does it take to set up a company in China as a foreign investor?
Usually 4 to 8 weeks from the moment your documents are ready to the final business licence. Capital account opening and the first capital injection normally add another 2 to 4 weeks, depending on the bank and the city.
2. Can a foreign company own 100% of a Chinese entity?
Yes. A WFOE (wholly foreign-owned enterprise) allows 100% foreign ownership in all sectors outside the Negative List. Sectors on the restricted list require a joint venture or a specific approval.
3. What exactly does Rheaura Group handle?
The full market-entry chain: entity selection and registration, bank account opening and capital contribution, tax, trade and employment compliance, supplier sourcing and due diligence, plus coordination with the commerce bureau, SAFE and the exit-entry administration.
4. Do we have to travel to China to complete the registration?
Most steps can be completed remotely with notarised and apostilled documents. A short visit is sometimes required for corporate bank account opening, depending on the bank policy.
5. How much does it cost to enter the Chinese market?
Costs fall into three parts: government and registration fees, professional service fees for setup and ongoing compliance, and operating costs such as office, staff and tax. After a short scope call we provide a written estimate with every itemised line.
